Press. Awards. Etc. Who cares about awards? Silly, pompous, pretentious awards! I don’t take them too seriously. In my experience many of them are just a scheme to get your entry fee – pay to play. So I rarely participate. But every now and then a magazine, book or blog will pick up my work organically, which means more great clients can find me and I have no problem with that.
